Take 5-6 small sized brinjals, remove the stems, cut into 8 pieces & keep it in cold water, similarly peel 2 medium sized potatoes, cut it into small square shape pieces & keep it in cold water.
Heat 1tsp oil in a deep pan & add 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder & a pinch of asafoetida.
Add potato pieces, saut for 2-3 minutes, then add brinjal pieces & some water, cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add 1tsp tamarind juice, 3tsp Kpra Onion Garlic Masala & salte to taste.
Once the potatoes & brinjals are half done & jaggery & crushed peanuts, keep it in a low flame & let it cook.
Serve hot.
